Frequently asked questions

Do you have certain questions before your visit to Entre-Deux-Monts? Do you have questions about our product range? Would you like to organise an event with Entre-Deux-Monts?

Below are some questions grouped by category. Didn't find an answer? Then feel free to get in touch via our contact form.

General

  • Children are definitely welcome on the estate, including during the tours. There are some non-alcoholic alternatives for during degustations. In addition, children are free to explore the domain & the experience meadow. Our big bench is definitely recommended!

The Entre-Deux-Monts route is definitely also suitable for children. Throughout the walk, they can discover the vineyard with our friends Pino & Chardo. That way, they also learn about winemaking in a playful way. Beware: the route is not completely buggy-proof as it largely consists of unpaved roads. A carry-on backpack is therefore a good alternative here.

  • Of course! You can discover our full range during the wine shop's opening hours. Not sure about your choice? Then various tasting formulas are available to discover the range.

Can't make it to us? The full range is also available on the webshop.

  • On the estate, in addition to the wine shop, you can also find our wine bar. There you can discover the domain through various tasting formulas, or have a glass of wine. This with a beautiful view over the vineyards both inside and from the terrace.

  • Entre-Deux-Monts can be visited in several different ways!

If you didn't find what you were looking for, please contact us!

Visits

  • For those who prefer not to drink wine, as well as children, a non-alcoholic alternative is provided. We then serve a glass of our own apple juice and a glass of apple-raspberry. Water is, of course, also available.

  • Dogs are allowed on the tour during the section in the vineyard. In the production area, where tastings also take place, dogs are not allowed for safety reasons.

  • On the tours, we like to let visitors discover the vineyard. During an expert explanation, we delve deeper into the growing and flowering of the vines. Those vines are in a grassy field, and can be soggy when it rains. It is therefore always advisable to wear good footwear (that may get dirty) should this be the case. In rainy weather, please also bring a mackintosh and possibly an umbrella.

  • There are some visiting opportunities:

    • Visit & Taste
    • Taste & Enjoy
    • Discover & Experience

Curious about what each visit involves? You can find more information on the visitor overview.

If there is no availability or if you prefer to discover Entre-Deux-Monts yourself, we definitely recommend our Entre-Deux-Monts route. It can be walked freely, even outside our opening hours. More information can be found here.

Our wines

  • At Entre-Deux-Monts, we make different types and styles of wines: sparkling, white, rosé, red and fortified wines. A full list of all wines can be found here.

The wines are often fresh in style, low in alcohol content and quite dry. A typical Belgian character made on the unique Heuvellandse terroir.

  • Organic viticulture is not a black-and-white story. We obviously spray as little as possible, with insecticides and herbicides we aim to discontinue in the short term. EDM also takes a sustainable approach where we try to minimise our carbon footprint. The whole company EDM has therefore carried out a carbon scan: winemaking, oenology, shop, etc. This gives an excellent result converted per bottle, thanks in part to:

    • Lighter bottles
    • Solar panels
    • Recycled cardboard
    • Planting trees (oak, sweet chestnut)
    • Hedges around the entire vineyard
    • Shredded prunings (no burning)
    • Grass everywhere against erosion and for carbon sequestration

  • Entre-Deux-Monts' wines are completely vegan. No animal products are used in the production process.

  • To preserve the wine optimally, a small amount of sulphites is added. This is less than the permissible average. For wines from a cool area, like ours, we also need to add less sulphite.

  • We cultivate several varieties on the estate: chardonnay, auxerrois, pinot gris, pinot noir, pinot meunier and acolon. Souvignier gris will soon be added.

  • Apart from the wine shop at our domain, there are 2 more possibilities to enjoy our wines in the cosiness of your own home:

  • All wines are available for purchase at the estate, while stocks last.

If you cannot make it to our wine shop, you can always visit our webshop or our partners.
