The Wiscoutre is made of Chardonnay and Auxerrois. This bottle is available in 37.5 cl, 75 cl, and 150 cl. .
This is the estate’s first sparkling wine, which has been in production since 2009. The Wiscoutre is awarded almost every year at international wine competitions. 'Wiscoutre' refers to the old Frankish name for the village of Westouter, where the wine is produced. This fresh and aromatic sparkling wine is perfect as an aperitif.
The Wiscoutre Blanc de Blancs is ready to drink immediately and is best consumed within the year.
Beautiful explosion in the glass while serving with never-ending fine bubbles leading to a lasting crown.
Méthode Traditionnelle, 15 months ‘sur lattes’. Use of 15% 'reserve perpetuelle' Chardonnay since 2010. This sparkling wine gets the official 'BelBul' label.
Soil: sand-loam mixed with Diestian sand, ironstone, flint stones and gravel. Underneath this, well-drained layers of Ledian and Paniselian sand.
Climate: cool temperate climate influenced by the North Sea
Sustainable viticulture: defoliation, green harvest, 10 km of indigenous hedges and sowing flower seeds to attract natural predators, sowing grass to prevent erosion, using compost

The fresh blend and 15 months 'sur lattes' make this sparkling wine a perfect apéritif. Also an ideal companion with light, fresh seafood dishes (e.g. plateau fruits de mer) and dishes with green herbs, citrus, cucumber, green apple (e.g. ceviche with sea bass). With vegetarian dishes with tomato, mozzarella and basil or with herring with sour cream and dill, this bubble also comes into its own.
Serving temperature: 8°C.
Besides the regular 75cl bottle, the Wiscoutre Blanc de Blancs is also available in small bottles (37.5cl) and in magnum (150cl).
